Indoor pesticide use, while effective on pests, can have negative effects on people. Pesticides that impact indoor air quality typically include insecticides, termiticides, rodenticides, fungicides and microbe disinfectants. Both the active and inert ingredients in the pesticides can be organic compounds; therefore they can adversely affect indoor air quality.
