New HRVOC Feature for Portable Gas Chromatograph

Photovac, Inc., the manufacturer of premium instruments for VOC analysis in air, soil, and groundwater, introduces a new gas measurement capability for the Voyager portable gas chromatograph to monitor specifically for HRVOC’s.

Highly reactive volatile organic compounds (HRVOC’s) play a significant role in rapid ozone formation, and are stringently regulated to minimize their impact on air quality. These HRVOC’s include ethylene, propylene, 1,3 butadiene and butane isomers. To help industry meet the monitoring requirements for these compounds, Photovac, Inc. unveiled the new HRVOC feature for the Voyager portable gas chromatograph.

The Voyager automatically sequences and measures the concentrations of the relevant compounds on-site, while eliminating the influence of potentially interfering compounds. Moreover, the GC technology results in exceptional accuracy and ease of use, and allows measurements to be made on location without the need for costly and time-consuming lab measurements. At only 15 pounds, the Voyager gas chromatograph is lightweight and extremely portable, and is intrinsically safe for hazardous environments.
